In other fashion news -- you'll want to be sitting down -- I performed at last weekend's Urban Arts Festival in a dress. More specifically, a Little Black Dress with a shrug and a pair of FOUR INCH TALL high heels, all gifts from a dear friend who's determined to make me into a girl. I spent the early part of my day practicing in those shoes and feeling quite a bit like a horse learning to walk on two legs. By that night, though... although I hardly think I'm ready for the catwalk, I didn't break my ankle or my neck, so we're calling it a victory. All self-abasing humor aside, I felt pretty glamorous. I'll post a pic or two when they come in.
